    About the Race

IMPORTANT RACE NOTE... IF YOU ARE A WALKER WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU, BUT YOU MUST DO THE 5K. WE DO NOT HAVE A 1/2 MARATHON WALK DIVISION. WE NEED TO GET EVERYONE OFF THE COURSE IN 3:15:00 WHICH IS 15 MINUTES PER MILE FOR THE HALF MARATHON, WHICH IS ACHIEVABLE FOR RUNNERS AND JOGGERS AND EVEN JOG/WALK COMBO FOLKS. BUT HAVING THE SAFETY STAFF/RANGERS/EMT ON THE COURSE FOR OVER AN HOUR EXTRA COULD COST OVER $1000 EXTRA IN EXPENSES. WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING THAT THIS IS NOT A HALF MAR...
