Set in beautiful Northeast Michigan, the Aliferis Memorial Race is open to runners, walkers and bikers of all ages and ability levels. It is named in memory of long-time Alpena Pathologist Dr. Peter Aliferis. Dr. Aliferis earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan and joined the hospital in 1963, serving for many years as the pathologies and laboratory director.
