About the Race
The Hot Dog Mile is an annual event celebrating hot dogs and regular dogs, dreamed up by the runners of Eastern Market Brewing Run Club. Participants eat four dogs and run four 1/4 mile laps- it's as simple as that! All proceeds after race costs are donated to a local Detroit Dog Rescue! It's like a beer mile, but with hot dogs! 4 hot dogs, 4 quarter mile laps, hopefully no puking and some beers at the end. a great hang-out to support dogs, eat hot dogs, have some beers and enjoy a lovely Sun...
