Welcome to the Awesome 3000! Join us as we return to McCulloch Stadium for another year of this exciting event. Since 1983, youth from Salem-Keizer and surrounding areas have participated in this fun run event that benefits Salem-Keizer Schools. In 2024-2025, United Way will distribute nearly $40,000 in grants throughout the district to benefit our children. We are excited to see you again! What should I wear?
Dress for ~10°F warmer than the standing temperature once you start running. Throwaway long-sleeve at the start, gloves and a hat for sub-50°F mornings, singlet plus visor when it climbs above 60°F. The race-day forecast above is the source of truth closer to the date.
