The “Boots on The Ground” race consists of a 5k family-oriented, pet-friendly, fun walk or run, as well as a more demanding 10k run (twice around the 5k course). Hosted in incorporation by both Lt. Charles A. Meyer, American Legion Post 86, Newton, NJ, and Skylands Stadium, Augusta, NJ. The sports campus is perfectly suited for the race in that it is flat.
