About the Race
On March 15, 2010, a tragic event took the life of a great man. James A. Kerstetter was not just a son, husband, father, friend, and police officer; he was a beacon of light in our community. In July of the same year, an event was created to honor and remember Jim's legacy. Now, fourteen years later, the Kerstetter 5k has evolved into more than just a memorial; it has become a symbol of unity and remembrance supported by countless individuals and organizations.
