Campus Recreation is proud to present its annual King of the Mountain Trail Race hosted at Liberty Mountain Snowflex Centre on Saturday, March 7, 2026. The King of The Mountain course is a single track, one mile course straight up Liberty Mountain! The race will start at Snowflex following Falwell Road, and the finish will be located at the very top of Snowflex. What should I wear?
Dress for ~10°F warmer than the standing temperature once you start running. Throwaway long-sleeve at the start, gloves and a hat for sub-50°F mornings, singlet plus visor when it climbs above 60°F. The race-day forecast above is the source of truth closer to the date.
