The Mackinac Island Swim is a FUN and challenging event (not a race). Come join us for up to 8.2 miles of swimming in this clear blue water with some of the greatest backdrops Pure Michigan has to offer!! Enjoy the finish line festivities following your swim. All sales of merchandise, raffles and auctions held the weekend of the event go to support the 501(c)3 non-Profit The Mackinaw Woman's Club. This year we hope to best our 2025 total of $30,000. What should I wear?
Dress for ~10°F warmer than the standing temperature once you start running. Throwaway long-sleeve at the start, gloves and a hat for sub-50°F mornings, singlet plus visor when it climbs above 60°F. The race-day forecast above is the source of truth closer to the date.
