    About the Race

    In preparation for the RRCA Club Challenge on February 22, 2026, Coaches Dave Roeder and Ndegwa Kamau will lead an informal 10 mile training program starting. The training schedule calls for 4 days per week to allows us to train for the longer distances on a flat course and then focus on the hills in Greenbelt Park with a shorter course.     What should I wear?

    Dress for ~10°F warmer than the standing temperature once you start running. Throwaway long-sleeve at the start, gloves and a hat for sub-50°F mornings, singlet plus visor when it climbs above 60°F. The race-day forecast above is the source of truth closer to the date.
