We want to invite you and your friends and family to the 2025 FRIGID 5K and Penguin Plunge! It’s a great way to start out the year and break free from the winter running blues! The 5K and Penguin Plunge have been the premier winter event for over a decade. After the 5K, finish the event off with the Penguin Plunge. What should I wear?
Dress for ~10°F warmer than the standing temperature once you start running. Throwaway long-sleeve at the start, gloves and a hat for sub-50°F mornings, singlet plus visor when it climbs above 60°F. The race-day forecast above is the source of truth closer to the date.
