About the Race
In August of 2022, we lost Sam Scherer to an aggressive form of cancer called cholangiocarcinoma. Sam's endless positive energy and appreciation for life shined bright throughout his time with us. He loved his family, friends and community. His boisterous laugh and passion for fun were evident with every step of his so-called "thunderous calves".
