University of New Mexico is hosting the 9th Annual Stadium Stair Challenge! On Saturday, April 25, 2026, we challenge you to tackle on a NEW CHALLENGE at the UNM Football Stadium! Register for the event and you can feel the pride of giving it your all along with receiving a race t-shirt and a finishers medal. This is a timed event.

What should I wear?
Dress for ~10°F warmer than the standing temperature once you start running. Throwaway long-sleeve at the start, gloves and a hat for sub-50°F mornings, singlet plus visor when it climbs above 60°F. The race-day forecast above is the source of truth closer to the date.
