About the Race
Gleaning Housing is hosting the second annual Running Pumpkin 5k. Bring a pumpkin or if you are feeling more festive dress in your best pumpkin costume. We will provide pumpkins for anyone that donated $20 or more to Gleanings Housing. Gleanings is a nonprofit that builds affordable rental housing in Lexington, Ky. Snacks and drinks will provide for all race participants. All are welcome for a fun fall run/walk.

What should I wear?
Dress for ~10°F warmer than the standing temperature once you start running. Throwaway long-sleeve at the start, gloves and a hat for sub-50°F mornings, singlet plus visor when it climbs above 60°F. The race-day forecast above is the source of truth closer to the date.
