Drink four beers and run a mile while you support veterans! If you kind of like running and really like beer this is your event. Join UAW Local 2209 and the Getting Miles Athletic Club for a beer run. All proceeds from the beer mile will be donated to the UAW Local 2209 Veterans Committee. The Veterans Committee is committed to supporting local veterans in need. Run with your friends, drink some beer and support a worthy cause! What should I wear?
Dress for ~10°F warmer than the standing temperature once you start running. Throwaway long-sleeve at the start, gloves and a hat for sub-50°F mornings, singlet plus visor when it climbs above 60°F. The race-day forecast above is the source of truth closer to the date.
