The VentureQuest (VQ) Adventure Race has challenged, rewarded, and inspired over 5000 athletes in its history. VQ is where is all began for EX2 and we are excited to produce our 21st edition of this special race. This year we will have a 8-hour and 24-hour course option both staging out of Rocky Gap State Park. The details of the courses and what to expect are below. What should I wear?
Dress for ~10°F warmer than the standing temperature once you start running. Throwaway long-sleeve at the start, gloves and a hat for sub-50°F mornings, singlet plus visor when it climbs above 60°F. The race-day forecast above is the source of truth closer to the date.
