Operation Hero's Hill is a transformative initiative by Mayor Glenn Jacobs, dedicated to ending veteran homelessness by providing safe, stable, and dignified housing for those who have given much in defense of our country. No Veteran should be without a place to call home in the country they swore to defend, and with your support, Operation Hero's Hill can provide safe shelter to 20 unhoused Veterans currently living here in our community. What should I wear?
Dress for ~10°F warmer than the standing temperature once you start running. Throwaway long-sleeve at the start, gloves and a hat for sub-50°F mornings, singlet plus visor when it climbs above 60°F. The race-day forecast above is the source of truth closer to the date.
