About the Race
Sam's Love is a non-profit organization that supplies baby books to families walking through stillbirth and/or pregnancy loss at no cost. We are hosting our 3rd 5K in honor of our son who was born sleeping on January 27th, 2021. Samuel Beckett Honaker lived a brief but rich life where he only knew love and warmth. We hope to raise funds to continue to provide the 25+ organizations with our Sam's Love books nationwide by using the funds from this 5K to order more books. The race will be Sa...

What should I wear?
Dress for ~10°F warmer than the standing temperature once you start running. Throwaway long-sleeve at the start, gloves and a hat for sub-50°F mornings, singlet plus visor when it climbs above 60°F. The race-day forecast above is the source of truth closer to the date.
